Natsuko Mineghishi is known for her many talents. She runs her own Karate dojo, teaches singing and works as a freelance singer/recital producer. Sure regularly sings with Len Vorster as DUO KALEN and with Salvatore Greco as DUO GEISHA PIAF.

Natsuko has obtained both a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours, and a Master of Music from the University of Melbourne. She further studied at Conservatorium van Amsterdam, receiving the highest score in Master of Music through Non-Western Technique in 2005.

Natsuko is an ambassador for Japanese music. Originally from Japan, she migrated to Australia as a late teenager. Questioning the reasons why her schoolings did not teach much about the music of Japan, she researched about the historical development of Japanese Art Songs and had written a thesis. In 2006, Natsuko her debut at Het Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) with Japanese Art Songs. Since then, she has continued to perform and promote multiple styles of Japanese songs all over the world.

Natsuko is also known for uniquely combining her career in singing and Karate. After becoming the 2012 SKIF Karate World Champion in Kata, she is frequently asked to give demonstrations and classes while being invited to perform as a singer.

In 2016, Natsuko has made her stage debut in Lally Katz’s play “Back at the dojo” at Belvoir Theatre, Sydney. In this project she was engaging multiple roles: an actor, Karate coach and singer and received the highest acclaims in several press reviews of the production.​
